Hair Gloss or Hair Glaze

Depending on the ingredients, a gloss or a glaze can either go into the cuticle of the hair or adhere to the outside of the hair. Glazes can also be tinted to add color.

Unfortunately, many of these products are not so different than products used to make car seats and dashboards shiny; they contain the polysiloxane family of silicone products.

If your hair is glossed or glazed, it will prevent Hairprint from working. They can be removed by strong clarifying shampoos and chelating shampoos. Please discontinue use of the gloss or glaze at least two weeks before applying Hairprint.
