What are the Ingredients in Hairprint®?

Here is the list of Hairprint's food-grade ingredients:

Baking Soda: What we use at home for baking and cleaning.

Mucuna Pruriens Extract: Made from velvet beans.

Sodium Carbonate: : Made from salt and limestone.

Ferrous and Manganese Gluconate: Vitamin supplements.

Hydrogen Peroxide*: Made of oxygen and water and naturally occurs in the hair follicle.

Carbomer: Inert thickener used in shampoos and pharmaceuticals.

Pretreatment Ingredients:

Aqua: Pure filtered deionized water

Lauryl glucosides: are surfactants made from coconut sugars.

Sodium Cocoamphoacetate: is a biodegradable mild surfactant made from fatty acids from coconut oil.

Sodium carbonate: is basic baking soda.

Sodium Citrate: natural crystalline salts extracted from fermented citrus juices. They are used to help buffer the formula to make it more gentle.

Hydroxypropyl Methylcelluloseis: derived from vegetable cellulose. 100% natural thickener.

Phenethyl alcohol: is natural preservative made from polysaccharides or sugar.

*The concentrations of hydrogen peroxide we use are between 1% and 1.5%, a fraction of what one gets in drugstore peroxide. In conventional hair dyes, peroxide is used to break open the hair, and can be up to a 12-15% concentration. When Hairprint is applied to your hair, the peroxide is gone in two minutes.
