At Hairprint, your safety and product quality are our top priorities. Because our formulas are made with food-grade ingredients and contain no harsh preservatives, they have a shorter shelf life and require careful handling. For this reason, certain items are not eligible for return.
Returns & Refunds FAQ
Q: Are Hairprint kits returnable?
A: No. Hairprint kits (True Color Restorer, Hairprint Plus, RePigment) and their individual components are not eligible for return or refund. These formulas are made with food-grade ingredients and must meet strict hygiene and safety standards. Returned kits and their components cannot be resold.
Q: Are any products non-returnable?
Yes. For product integrity and safety reasons, True Color Restorer and True Color Restorer Plus—including all individual components and any bundles that contain these items—are not eligible for return or exchange.
Q: Can I return only part of a bundle?
For all other product bundles (not including True Color Restorer/Plus kits), items must be returned as a full set. Partial returns of eligible bundles are not accepted.
Q: What items can I return?
A: Non-kit items may be returned within 30 days if they are unopened, unused, and in brand-new condition.
Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
A: Contact Support within 7 days of delivery with photos of the box and product. We’ll assist you right away.
Q: Who pays for return shipping?
A: Customers are responsible for return shipping unless Hairprint is at fault (e.g., incorrect item shipped).
Q: Why are some items not returnable?
A: Our formulas are made with food-grade ingredients and have a shorter shelf life than conventional products. For hygiene and safety reasons, these items cannot be restocked once shipped.
How to Make a Return (U.S. Customer Only):
You may send back any unopened, non-kit or component product to 3055 Enterprise Ct., Vista, CA 92081. The return must post marked back to us so the return arrives within 30 days from the date of purchase to receive a full refund.
*** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH A RETURN ***
• Items returned to us after the 30 day window may be refused or discarded and are not eligible for a refund. Hairprint is not liable for any returns that are damaged or lost in transit. Any and all items returned to Hairprint may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Please allow 7-10 days for your return to be processed after it has been received.
• Products that are cosmetically flawed/damaged, opened (this includes opening the sealing sticker of a Hairprint Kit box), used, or in any other condition that disqualifies them from being able to be resold are not eligible for a refund.
• Hairprint can only accept returns on products purchased directly from us and from the individual who originally placed the order. All refunds go back to the original method of payment. If you purchased from another retailer or received an item as a gift, you will need to contact that retailer or individual.
• Because we pay for these shipping costs up front, this cost is not refundable under any circumstances, even if your return is unable to be accepted. If a return is unable to be accepted, once received, it is the property of Hairprint and cannot be reshipped back to you. For this reason, please DO NOT ship items back to us that are ineligible for a return.
• If you are an international customer, please contact us for further assistance in making a return.
• You are responsible for packing the items appropriately so that they do not get damaged during transit. Returns that are received with damaged items as a result of improper packing are not eligible for a refund. If the carrier is at fault for mishandling the return, you may make a claim with the carrier for reimbursement if applicable.
• Hairprint does not offer product exchanges, so if you're returning an item to purchase something else, proceed with the return and order the correct or preferred item at your convenience (either before or after you have received your refund).
